Strength and Honor
The darkness is deep in our SC politics. And while I’m not green to holding our elected officials accountable, it never ceases to amaze me how professed Christians accuse those of us operating in transparency and truth as “divisive.”

Finger Pointing and Name Calling
Ever since I became politically vocal on Facebook and active within our local Republican Party, I quite often receive comments or hear of criticism that I’m a “rabble rouser,” or that simply asking pointed questions and/or addressing dishonesty within our leadership is “hateful,” “rude,” and “mean-spirited.”
It’s interesting that the ones accusing me of hate are also professing Christians. Since perhaps they need a refresh of the Christian walk, let’s take a look at some scripture:

Nancy Mace for Governor?
"𝐈 𝐬𝐚𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐨𝐞 𝐯. 𝐖𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭, 𝐚𝐬 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐬𝐚𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲," 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐝. "𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐬, 𝐰𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞."
Instead of reading the room, maybe Nancy Mace should read the Bible.

Still Standing
“When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?”
“They’re still gonna have to go out and put a bullet in Donald Trump, and that’s a fact.”
“Where is John Wilkes Booth when you need him?”
“I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House.”
“I will go and take Trump out tonight.”
“So we’re not talking about the debate, it’s time to put Trump in a bullseye.”

My Farewell as Miss South Carolina for America
Last night I took my final walk across the stage as Miss South Carolina for America.

International Pageant Day
My very first boyfriend Billy (hi Billy if you’re reading this) used to call me “Beauty Queen” as a playful nickname. Little did that farm girl Sarah know she would actually become one… and of course little did Billy know he was being prophetic lol.

Speech at the Freedom Meet-Up
I had the honor of being listed among some amazing speakers at the Freedom Meet-Up in Chapin last night.
It was a fantastic turnout and I was happy to share a bit of my story as an encouragement during these troubling times.

Shen Yun: China Before Communism
A couple of week’s ago my family and I had the pleasure of finally seeing “Shen Yun: China Before Communism” for the first time.

Finding My Strawberries
What’s been my favorite part of preparing for the pageant? Finding my strawberries.
RISE USA
What an amazing way to kick off America Month by attending the RISE USA launch tour!
This weekend my parents and I joined hundreds at Liberty Hall in Franklin, Tennessee, as we listened to Johnny and Elizabeth Enlow’s message on being Reformers In Society Everday.

A Night at the Opera
After attending the fabulous show performed by The Palmetto Opera two weeks ago, I was reminded of our first family trip to Italy in 2018.

My Why
Winning a pageant isn’t anything I thought I’d ever do. What’s more, now that I’ve won, I don’t think I fully expected the responsibility, time, and busyness it would bring.
I don’t say that in a negative sense, but a lot more goes into it than meets the eye, in everything from frequently scheduled social media posts, to meetings with sponsors, to appearances, preparing for Nationals, etc.
Introducing Seint Beauty
Makeup that takes me from days at the restaurant to nights on the red carpet, all in the palm of my hand.

American Royalty
So grateful to my friends and sponsors at Fisher Films for supporting me in the journey to Miss SC for America.

Miss South Carolina for America

Announcement
As of tomorrow, April 1st, I will officially be accepting clients as a freelance photographer.

The Portofino Cup
What a whirlwind weekend! After not competing (or even dancing) for 3 years, and John being off the floor for 5, we accepted a last-minute invitation to compete with a showcase routine at the exclusive Portofino Cup in Portofino, Italy.

Miss Lexington
Through and unexpected and interesting turn of events, I will be competing as Miss Lexington for the title of Miss South Carolina for America Strong.
IF My People
This morning Mom and I were discussing the smug pride we’ve witnessed amongst some involved with the MAGA movement, and her following comment struck the nail bluntly on the head:
“Unfortunately you can be a full-blooded patriot and still be void of God.”

André Rieu and His Johann Strauss Orchestra
I’ll never forget how enthralled my brothers and I were the first time Mom introduced us to André Rieu and his Johann Strauss orchestra many, many years ago. It was a performance on DVD, one of his many recorded live performances, and the first of MANY of his DVDs we would come to own.
