My Farewell as Miss South Carolina for America

Last night I took my final walk across the stage as Miss South Carolina for America.

I want to send a heartfelt congratulations to all the new 2024 queens! I will be cheering excitedly for y’all on your road to Nationals, and may the Lord guide you every step of the way on this journey.

It has been a tremendous honor to serve as your Miss South Carolina for America 2023. I will forever be grateful for this experience, for the lessons I’ve learned, and for the way in which this opportunity has grown and refined me as a woman.

To my family, friends, and community back home, I thank you always for your never-ending love and support. Your constant encouragement was my anchor throughout this journey, and I couldn’t have done it without you. I love you, and I hope I made y’all proud.

To my directors, Wendy and Fred, thank you for making me feel like family, and for uplifting me every step of the way. I’m so grateful to be Galle Girl!

To my 2023 Queens, y’all have my heart forever. I am beyond blessed to be counted amongst such amazing women, and I cherish the newfound sisterhood I’ve found in you.

I thank God for His grace and strength, and for opening this door of opportunity. I will continue to use my platform to serve, and to be an example to all Americans of the importance of protecting our First Amendment right - our voice.

We are America, and we will remain America Strong.
