Fisher Films is owned by Daniel and Stephen Fisher. Y’all may know Stephen as a longtime server at Momma Rabbit’s (and inventor of the Stephen Fisher special lol). With Stephen being a coworker and family friend, before I had even decided to compete in the pageant I had the fun of watching the first edits of their documentary “American Royalty” before it was finished and released to public.
Even if you’ve never been involved in or enjoyed pageantry, this feature is a riveting peek into the behind-the-scenes history of such an iconic American institution — the Miss America Pageant.
