Lukewarm Christianity and How it Affects America

Reading the congratulatory statements from George W. Bush and Mitt Romney to Biden struck me as politically analogous to the state of lukewarm Christianity today.

Marxist Masquerade

Scripture warns us that Satan masquerades as an angel of light, and the events of 2020 have unfortunately exposed the many professing Christians who have been blinded by that light.

The reaction to the Marxist and anti-Christ movement of the Black Lives Matter Organization is a perfect example of that deception, with Christians and churches across the nation posting their black squares and groveling to the narrative, even going so far as to apologize for the skin in which God himself created them.

The terror-driven reaction to the Covid pandemic is another one, with many being consumed in fear, and viewing their fellow men as enemies simply for breathing.

Whether these Christians were new to the faith and still nursing the milk, or simply imposters preferring friendship with the world, remains to be seen. But it doesn’t take a Biblical scholar to see through the pretty and seemingly compassionate facade of those movements.

Not Just an Election

And now we come to the election. Saints across the WORLD are standing fast in prayer and faith that the Lord has his hand on this election, and President Trump. A prominent leader in China’s underground church even issued a statement of profound prayer for our country’s situation, and international brethren I personally know have written prayers and encouragement, knowing the milestone we’ve reached in our nation.

They recognize its prophetic significance, and the deep-seated fraud and corruption within our political system which is being exposed by the Righteous Judge for the world to see. And, they recognize that just like David, whatever his personal faults and personality flaws, God has anointed our President as his man of the hour to finish this. His Trump card, if you will.

Revival

I haven’t seen such a revival within the Church since the tragedy of 9/11. And as we inch closer to His coming, I know the Lord is using the events of this year to further separate the wheat from the chaff — those who stand for truth and righteousness regardless of the mockery of the world, or those who fall in line with the world, who can’t even share a meme’s worth of truth without couching it with a “don’t come at me” or a “don’t worry, I don’t like Trump either.”

Wake up, sleepers. Don’t mistake your weakness for humility. Friendship with the world is enmity with God, and the lukewarm he will spew out of his mouth.

We’re not called to win friends and influence people. We’re not called to be neutral. We’re called to put on the FULL ARMOR OF GOD and fight the principalities and powers of darkness on this spiritual battlefield, not quiver on the sidelines waiting to see which way the wind blows before picking a side.

The time is now. If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything. And I’m sure many will bow the knee to Baal, all in the name of bipartisanship and loving thy neighbor.
